So...this was the guy in the tux at the wedding, right?

Wow. It has been just too long since I've gotten alone time with my husband! Do you realize he's actually a terrific, fun guy to hang out with? Well, occasionally I bet I'M guilty of forgetting. Gads we had so much fun today.

We got up and went out for breakfast-- NO, we did not have to order the smiley face pancakes off the kids' menu. :-) Then we caught a matinée of the Bourne Ultimatum (or, as a guy in line put it: "Bourne to Be Wild? Bourne Free? Bourne Under a Bad Sign?). It was escapist in the extreme, totally inappropriate for children (although this did not stop someone from bringing an infant, by the way! can you imagine?) and scads for fun to watch!!

Next we went to Dave & Buster's where we wasted some money and played some fun, mindless games-- skee ball, pop-a-shot, all kinds of driving games. What a hoot!

Finally, we headed over the S & S's house to pick up princess and eat dinner. S, brave woman, had taken our daughters (plus a couple more little girls) to Six Flags for the day. No disrespect to the Medal of Honor winners, but there ought to be a similar honor for moms for bravery in the face of five four year olds in a crowded amusement park on a Saturday when it's 100 degrees. Write your Congressman.
