Holy crow.

Alright, you guys, I'm gonna brag. If talk of the gym annoys you, stop reading.

So.

Remember when I kvetched so much about having 3 aerobics classes per week? How I was always falling asleep from sheer physical exhaustion?

Well, I did a half hour high speed on a treadmill at a high incline this morning and was cheesed off because we have a 1/2 hour time limit. And I wasn't tired!

Y'all gotta understand I'm in my 40s-- I'm a walking bag of creaky knees, heel spurs and achy vertebrae. I gained a ton of weight while working at some lousy jobs the last few years. It's not like getting in shape at this age is easy.

And NOW I'm hitting the weight room on the days I don't have aerobics class. I actually had to go out and get some more gym shorts today.

Man, that feels pretty good. (If only my knees felt that good...)
