Waiting...

So, having read the Taiwan boards fairly religiously, I gather that most referrals for older kids (2+) are taking 1 year from the date the home study is approved (at least at my agency) and infants are 18 months to 2 years. AFTER this waiting period, is another wait during which time the adoption goes through the courts. This can last, per my agency, 4 - 6 months, although I've read that some particularly slow judges can take longer.

ps- Yep, Shelley, we have the same agency. Are you waiting for toddler, infant, or what?
