My little girl is growing up so fast.
Here's a portrait of me with jewelry, a crown, and, says my husband, a 5 o'clock shadow!
I'm posing next to a many-layered birthday cake for MY birthday (which is not for many months, but truly that's beside the point!)
The other funny thing is that DH and I were driving DD around Saturday and kind of being silly. At one point I told DD that something I said was just because "I was trying to be funny."
"No," she replied, completely dead-pan, "you're not funny."
Um...ouch?

Hee hee!!! I love the portrait, Chairman Mom... I should post pics of the portraits my girls did of me last week. I have a huge open mouth with tons of teeth and big flaring nostrils. (But I do have a cute shirt and necklace, and at least I'm smiling...) :)
