Well. The dossier is in to the agency. We're awaiting our I-824 transferring from China to Taiwan. Wonder how long that takes? Doesn't seem to be a lot of info on that topic amongst the yahoo groups. I guess the transferring of countries is just becoming popular in the adoption world since the wait for China has become so long.
Anyway, our agency says there are a very few couples looking for older preschoolers ahead of us. But who knows how long it will take to get through those few referrals?? It seems to be entirely at the whim of the Taiwanese referring orphanage or agency how many children go to which US adoption agency. In other words, there does not appear to be any rhyme or reason from our end, anyway.
So. We just go on with life, knowing there will be a surprise awaiting us in the future...

Good news is it's done and you have some time to get it back. And yup you just don't know, but in the end our children will get here.
