Skype

Okay, you guys. Anyone not know about Skype? If you don't, this is the COOLEST thing for traveling adoptive families EVER.

Here's what ya do. You and your family/friends all load Skype onto your computers. YOU get a webcam. You can call your friends at home via your computer FOR FREE. If you use your webcam, they can see REAL TIME video of you and your new kiddo!!! And did I mention if you call Skype to Skype it's free?

My friends who are leaving in a few days are doing this. We tried it out yesterday (I bought a web cam, too. Hey! It was on sale at Best Buy! I couldn't help myself!) It works beautifully!

I'm sure there will be a slight delay if you call at a time when lots of people are on Skype at the same time, but, for the most part, it works like a charm! It's www.skype.com
