Still confused

Today I got a call from our agency about my homestudy/171 question AND an email from USCIS. Sadly, I'm still not quite sure what we're doing.



Good news: yes, we can go with the 171 we have. Bad news: no one can yet tell me whether we need a new home study BEFORE we get the I-824. There's a $140 price difference starting in July, so we need to get this ironed out PDQ. Or just resign ourselves to paying the extra $140 and not sweat it.
