Build-a-Bear???

Oh. My. Gawd.

I just watched some video on YouTube by families about their Taiwanese adoptions.

Okay, I do realize that Western culture has extended its grasp into Asia. I know that. I can almost deal with that. But BUILD-A-BEAR?? Yup. A Build-A-Bear. In Taiwan.

Oh come on, people. That's awful.

Not only that, but there's a Subway sandwich shop, a TGI Fridays, McDonald's, and Burger King-- all on just ONE family's video. What other egregious Americanizations are there? It'll barely be a noticeable cultural change at this rate, bringing her home to America!
