Okay, so today I got my med exam. Happily, it was concluded that I don't seem to have anything in particular wrong with me. Certainly nothing that would preclude my being a perfectly acceptable adoptive mom.
Should I be flattered? heh.
Well, it's nice that Taiwan doesn't want to know my exact blood lipid count and whatever else we had to provide to China during the first adoption.
We also got the packet of documents for the home study from our independent agency in the mail today. Oy. Lots and lots of paperwork. Fortunately, since I raided the first adoption file, we have a lot of the required documents on hand.
Nonetheless, it's still a little overwhelming, even if I've prepared TWO complete dossiers already. It's just that first dreadful moment when you look at the list of all the docs you need. That's just daunting.
In other news, we have two sets of friends setting out for China and Korea, respectively, this month to pick up their new kiddos! Looks like my family will be spending some time at the airport welcoming folks home this month! Hooray!
