Small hiccup in the joyous adoption journey

We were burglarized! Eeek!

Not too terribly much was taken~ so far we've discovered missing a couple of laptops, and iPod, camera, and some money. Thank heavens they didn't take my engagement ring which was, because I don't like to wear it while gardening, sitting in the middle of my dining room table.

Boy, it never rains but it pours, eh?

Well, I'll tell ya what. It is not going to slow down my dossier prep ONE IOTA. Nope. The heck with that nasty burglar. (although I wouldn't mind some alone time with him and a Louisville slugger right at the moment...) Grrrr. Pic is of Mahakala, the most wrathful Buddhist deity I could find. Suits my mood.

Oh yeah, and I smashed my finger yesterday with a retaining wall brick. Just to make my Memorial Day weekend even more perfect.
